RACE NUMBERS

Athletes will be body numbered to distinguish them from each other during their swim. Body marking involves having a number written on their hand to confirm their age-group / gender. Body marking will be done at Registration.

SWIM CAP

Swim caps will be compulsory for the swim. You will be issued with a swim cap which will be representative of the event you are competing in.

RACE TIMING

All competitors will be issued with a transponder that corresponds to their respective race number and an electronic time automatically produced. The transponder is a type of Velcro 'bracelet' that you strap around your ankle and wear for the entire race (please make sure it is strapped securely around your ankle). If the transponder is not on your ankle you may not receive an official time.
Once you have crossed the finish line, please return your transponder to one of the marshals. If you do not finish the event, please ensure you return your transponder to one of the marshals at the finish line. If your transponder is not returned, you will incur a $50.00 replacement fee.

PRIZE GIVING

Prizegiving will be held at Lake Hayes after the final Aquathon event in the afternoon.
